Boat Access Pass

People with a Boat Access Pass will have access to our site and boats at any time during our sailing season. We are excited to offer people an opportunity outside of our regular programming to enjoy sailing in Whitehorse.

A Boat Access Pass includes:

  • Use of designated club boats and safety equipment at any time (see exceptions below)

  • Membership social events

Details:

  • Pass holders must have sailing experience and be capable of rigging, steering and docking the sailboat.

  • Children and youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 14 are free & a youth Boat Access Pass for those aged 14-18 is $150.

  • Pass holders may go out on one of our sailboats with friends or family.

  • Pass holders will not “lend” boats to others or allow others access to our site.

  • Pass holders will not use boats after dark or use boats under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Pass holders will return boats in the condition they are found and report any damage to boats or other Yukon Breeze Sailing Society assets.

  • Pass holders will not use boats on Tuesday evenings during the summer.

  • Pass holders may take out boats at the same time as our kids camps and adult lessons but will not take boats set aside for our other programming

  • The Boat Access Pass does not give members access to coach boats.

Any Pass holder who violates any of the terms above will lose their access immediately without refund.

It is mandatory for all Pass Holders to attend an orientation on a Tuesday drop-in night before they are given access to the boats.

Cost: $300 per season (May 26th - September 18th)

Passes will go on sale in April 2026

New this year: all sailors participating in our programs are required to purchase a membership.
